Three depths,
one laser.

NouvaDerm is a laser skin treatment offered at three depths. Non-ablative treatment heats the deeper layers of the skin without breaking the surface, for gentle improvement with little downtime. Sub-ablative goes a step further. Ablative treatment resurfaces microscopic columns of the outer skin, for the most visible change in texture, fine lines and tone.

The deeper the treatment, the longer the recovery: from a day or two of redness after non-ablative to around a week of healing after ablative. Your consultation matches the depth to your skin, your goals and the time you have.

What is the difference between the three levels?
Laser resurfacing at three depths. Non-ablative works beneath the surface with minimal downtime and is well suited to tone and early texture. Sub-ablative goes further. Ablative removes a thin layer of surface skin for the most significant results on texture, scarring, and sun damage — with the most recovery time attached.
How do I know which level is right for me?
Deeper isn’t automatically better; the right setting is the one that matches your skin, your concern, and how much downtime your life allows.
When is the best time of year?
Fall and winter are the ideal seasons, because healing skin and strong sun don’t mix.
