Botox, Dysport, Daxxify and Xeomin are neuromodulators: purified proteins that temporarily relax the small muscles that crease the skin when you frown, raise your brows or squint. With less movement beneath it, the skin smooths, and lines that have started to set in can soften over time.

They are most often used for the lines between the brows, across the forehead and at the corners of the eyes. The four work in a similar way and differ in how they are made, how quickly they take effect and how long they last. Your consultation is where we decide which suits you, and how much.

Treatment takes a few minutes with a very fine needle, and most people go straight back to their day. Results appear over the following days and settle within about two weeks. They typically last three to four months, and Daxxify is designed to last longer. Pricing is per unit, so you pay for what your plan needs.

How do these treatments differ?

All four are botulinum toxin type A. They work by temporarily relaxing the specific muscles that create expression lines, so the skin above them creases less. They differ slightly in how quickly they kick in and how long they last, and we choose based on your anatomy and your goals rather than brand loyalty.

When will I see results, and how long do they last?

Expect to see results in 3–7 days, with full effect around two weeks, lasting roughly 3–4 months for most people.

Why is it priced per unit?

Because the number of units depends on the area and on your muscle strength — not on a package someone guessed at.
